Rather than accept they’re just a pack of cunts, the Liberal Party continues to allege acts of bias against them by the ABC.
When they were in power the Liberals often alleged bias against them whenever the national broadcaster ran a story that was critical against the Howard Government.
Yet, despite all their posturing and carrying on like pork chops, and independent report has found that 96 per cent of reports on ABC radio current affairs programs including AM, PM and The Word Today were accurate.
Alleged acts of bias led to John Howard appointing three noted public critics to the ABC board namely Janet Albrechtsen (bias is OK if it’s in the Liberal’s favour), Keith Windshuttle and Ron Brunton.
Howard is gone now, the ABC has been vindicated but that doesn’t stop the Libs from alleging bias against them by the ABC, as though the shit they have got themselves in is somehow the broadcasters fault.
Today it was reported that ABC managing director Mark Scott has had to continue defending the ABC about trivial matters raised by state and federal Liberal politicians, including a friendly joke made by Geraldine Doogue to Kevin Rudd at the start of the 20-20 Summit.
It’s time Liberal Party politicians got over themselves and realised that any criticism directed their way is totally self-inclicted. Instead of shooting the messenger it might be time for them to turn the guns on themselves.

Let’s hope Kevin Andrews, a staunch Catholic, has been going to confession to repent his sins, for using the race card to bolster his political Party’s of securing the red neck vote to take it to another election.
Not content with with hanging an innocent man, in Dr Haneef, to hang out to dry, it has been revealed that Andrews puposefully denigrated all African refugees in Australia as criminals, against the device of his on department.
According to The Age’sJewell Topsfield, a confidential Immigration Department briefing to the then minister, written after a spate of crimes on public transport believed to have been committed by young Sudanese men, stressed that studies suggested it was not ethnicity that determined criminal behaviour but a combination of socio-economic problems and other disadvantage.
Topsfield writes, the briefing, dated September 27, 2007, said: “Whatever the background of the perpetrators, it would be wrong to blame all people from a particular migrant group for the behaviour of a few.”
But a week later, Mr Andrews appeared to ignore its advice, and in a classsic example of dog-whistle politics, cited the failure of Sudanese people to integrate as a reason for cutting African refugee numbers - comments which led to anti-Sudanese sentiment to mushroom on the basis of sensationalist and biased reporting in the media - which has incredibly fallen silent on the subject of gang violence by white kids,
What’s even more disgusting is that Andrews’ comments came after he was asked about the fatal bashing of 18-year-old Sudanese refugee Liep Gony in Noble Park - a classic case of turning the tables on the victim for one’s own advantage.
To be fair to Andrews, it’s hardly likely this was all his doing.
Thank God we had the election result we did.

Imagine of the Greens were the first to say they would oppose the alcopop tax in the Senate - they would be accused, by their haters like Andrew Bolt, of putting their self interest ahead of the health of our youth and jeopardising the economy.
Of course there was no such criticism when Dr Fuckinflipflop announced his Party would oppose the alcopop tax because he values all alcoholic beverages.
So now the Greens have joined the Liberals in saying they would oppose the girly-drink tax and blow a $3billion hole in the Rudd Government’s first Budget, where will the likes of Bolt lean?
Let’s hope his head explodes, all Scanners like.

Dear Mr Brendan Nelson,
You cry like a bitch because well off people are going to be means tested for the baby bonus, while uni students, who are trying to live independetly miss out on Austudy because they or their parents earn more than a certain amount, which is well under the $150,000 mark and also incudes the value tied up in the family home.
Your party was in power for 11 years, and not only did you not fix that, you made the criterea even tougher.
And when your mob was in power families who accidentally received more family payments than they qualified for, because they are not fucking Nostradamus and couldn’t accurately predict how much they would earn for the next 12 months, were slugged with fines in the thousands of dollars.
Most of these people were treated like welfare fraudsters even though the reason they earned more than declared is because they worked hard and earned more over-time or freelance payments.
I never saw you opposing the shitful way your government, via that tent-wearing bitch Amanda Vanstone, treated them like criminals, withheld payment to their children, who you so fucking claim to value, and made them pay the money back.
And why is it the Liberals never complained or stopped means testing for the following worthy causes?
- ABSTUDY - Actually we can guess why
- Age Pension - you value all babies but not pensioners
- Assistance for Isolated Children Scheme - don’t you value kids who live out bush?
- Austudy - see above, cunt
- Bereavement Allowance - shame on you
- Carer Payments - gee, with the song and dance you made about carers I actually thought you gave a fuck. Why is this means tested when it saves the government so much money?
- Disability Support Payment - do you only care for healthy babies?
- Family Tax Benefit A & B
- Mature age allowance
- Newstart Allowance
- Parenting Payment - why have a baby bonus when we have this?
- Partner Allowance
- Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment
- Pension Bonus Scheme
- Sickness Allowance
- Special Benefit
- Widow Allowance - widows!
- Widow B Pension
- Wife Pension
- Youth Allowance
Means testing is nothing new, and it is applied to people a lot needier than a couple who decide to have a baby. What’s more disappointing about your decision to criticise the baby bonus means test is that no mainstream political journalist has put all this to you.
I hope all the criticism and shit polling is getting to you.
Regards,
Wah

The Age reports West Australian Opposition Leader Troy Buswell has broken down at a press conference and admitted he sniffed the chair of a female Liberal Party staffer for a laugh.
Imagine the chat with his advisers:
“Any skeletons in the cupboard that we should know about Troy - hookers, rent boys in toilets, chats with Brian Burke; the odd “where’s my fucking eggs bitch” violent tirade at the missus; locking your daughter up in a cellar and having seven children with her; impregnating teenagers in a polygamy compound, urinated on a police station or restaurant window; ever found with GHB on your self; shared crack and had a loud sex romp with Amy Winehouse, head-butted Scott West, organised a police escort for kd lang, submitted a Here’s Lookin At You letter to mX, been photographed with Brendan Nelson, appeared on Big Brother? Anything bad like that?
“Nah, I once sniffed some sheila’s chair as joke, but nothing will come of that.”
“Fair enough … was she good looking?”

I saw Malcolm Turnbull on the 7.30 Report tonight. Yes he’s a pompous Liberal git, but he’s got a presence that makes you want to hear what he has to say even of you don’t necessarily agree.
Whereas Brendan Nelson is about as attractive to listen to as a piss-crusted tramp asking for a cigarette.
Interesting that when Kerry O’Brien put this to Turbull, in a different manner of course, Turnbull replied with: “What I can say is that Brendan as the full support of the Party … “.
Is this as opposed to ‘What I will say is that Nelson is a fucktard with an extremely large forehead and once I get the numbers I’m going to fuck him good with one of his six guitars”?
Honestly Libs, don’t wait for the Budget or Liberal by-election, do the spill now.
P.S. Keep Julie Bishop as deputy leader, she a hottie.

Liberal Senator Peter McGauran has announced his resignation after lying about his decision to leave politics, for a plum job in the racing industry, earlier this week.
This is the second time McGauran has shown contempt for the people of Gippsland, who originally voted him in as a National Party MP before he jumped ship to the Liberal’s in 2006 with John Howard’s backing, doing his old party severe damage in Victoria.
Now he stuck his fingers up at the people of Gippsland again by not serving a full time.
Get fucked and good riddance, you sleazy piece of shit.

The excellent blog/news/features site New Matilda, featured a great letter sent to the Sydney Morning Herald about John Howard’s supposedly brilliant legacy. I thought I’d publish it here because I could not have put this better myself - though I did add one word.
Some legacy, John. Highest inflation for 11 years. Eleven - or is it 12? - interest-rate rises in a row. Current account deficit second highest ever. Housing affordability worst ever. Skills crisis. Run-down health and education systems in every state. Decaying infrastructure Australia-wide. Imports up, exports down. Billions wasted in dud defence purchases. The Liberal Party in disarray. A back bench full of sulking part-timers led by Mr Seven Per Cent, all blaming you. Some economic manager you turned out to be. Some legacy. Enjoy your walk … cunt.
