The problem with our largely Sydney-based media

Since getting BigPond I haven’t bothered changing my home page from BigPond to something more useful like The Age or YouPorn. So when I log into the internets I am greeted by a mix of shitful marketing pap and a token amount of news.
Today I was stunned to see some online headline writer got the name of an Australian living treasure wrong.
This headline could not have been written in Melbourne.
