Liberal fear mongers pwned

Posted by clubwah on July 25, 2008

Condi's Alexander Downer impersonations had the Smiths in raptures.

Condi's Alexander Downer impersonations had the Smiths in raptures.

Pictures of US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice having a cuppa with Foreign Minister Stephen Smith and his parents in Perth during a “personal” trip she made to the West Australian capital remind me of the scare campaigns John Howard, his cronies and the fucktardish likes of Bolt, Timmeh and the Fat Cunt orchestrated during the election campaign.

If anything the alliance with the US is stronger under the Rudd Government than it was under Howard, despite the fact that apart from a silly salute, Rudd hasn’t had his head up George W Bush’s arse.

Personal friendships aside Smith’s close ties with Rice are a good thing for Australia as she will no doubt continue to have a powerful presence in US affairs whichever candidate wins the US Presidential election.

So far that looks like being Barack Obama, which would have made the Australian-US Alliance rather interesting considering Howard’s embarrassing swipe at Obama on his preference for US troops to withdraw from Iraq, and Obama’s subesequent pwning of Howard.

The fact that the Rudd Government has maintained close ties with the US while sticking to its guns on Iraq and being critical of our allies in Afghanistan, shows that Australia can have a meaningful alliance with the US, and engage in international affairs on its own terms.

It also exposes the myth that a Liberal Government has the monopoly on national security.

It’s strange that the Liberals would ever claim the ‘high ground’ when it comes to Australia-US relations. They seem to forget that it was under ALP PM John Curtin in WW2 that the strong ties were first formed after ‘Pig Iron’ Bob Menzies’ alliance with England had let us down and left our shores unprotected. Australia was saved by Curtin’s swift response and the assistance of the Yanks.

Btw, wouldn’t Condoleeeeeeza lose her job if the Democrats win? I hope so, she’s dangerous in my opinion.

I don’t know Ray, she’s not a political appointee so there’s no reason why she couldn;t work with Obama. Colin Powell looks like he’s set to endorse Obama – US politics isn’ as straight forward party political as our system, which allows for cabinet appointments to me made on merit, rather than on party lines.

I don’t think she’s dangerous, I think she’s extremely talented and very smart – she’s one of the few survivours from the original Bush Administration who had anything to do with national security.

    She frightens me!

Alexander Downer will be spinning in his stockings with envy at that photo … “Perhaps it’s been doctored by commie child pornographers”, he thinks, “Yes, that’s it. Left-wing commie pinko child pornographers have pwned my special girl. Bastards!”

  5. Bron said

Me too, Ray. I remember reading a profile about her somewhere, where she said she would willingly swap sides (ie a church, a political party, a team of some sort) if it could advance her ambitions.

Well! That speaks volumes about her. It’s a wonder she’s still with the losing Republicans though. Perhaps she will foster closer relations with Obama, assuming he’s going to win the Presidency.

Or perhaps Lexi will write about his “close friendship” with Condi on his blog, dropping bit “fuck off, don’t touch my girl” hints to anyone reading. Anyone reading it, come to think of it?

LOL, that reminds me of Paul Keating’s assessment of the rodent:

“For Mr Howard to get to the high moral ground, he would first need to climb out of the volcanic hole he had dug for himself over the last decade. It is like one of those diamond mine holes in South Africa. They are about a mile underground. He would have to come a mile up to get to even equilibrium let alone have any contest in morality with Kevin Rudd.”

  8. Bron said

Oh, Paul Keating! How good is he!

  9. So what smith? a Very unpopular piece of political dead wood had coffee with your mum and dad? It’s not a good sign of relationship strength between the Australia and the USA. In fact, snubbing Mr 28%’s chief cheerleader would put us more in tune with the AMerican people than inviting Rice in for hot drinks.

  10. LuLi said

I wouldn’t invite her into my house, evil war bitch!

  11. I’d invite her for sure. Then i’d give the cow a well-deserved dressing down, followed by a citizen’s arrest for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

  12. Is Smith tapping the most worlds most powerful woman?

  13. Bron said

I thought Oprah was the world’s most powerful woman? Well, according to Women’s Day, she is.

  14. Bron said

DISCLAIMER: I don’t read or buy Women’s Day, my mum does.

  15. and i just read playboy for the articles

I reckon Rice is above all that neo-con shit. She was given an opportunity to have one of the most fascinating jobs in the world and took it. The fact she is still standing and respected around the world, while the Bush Administration crumbles says plenty for her.

The Australian published the speech she made to the little rich kids at Stephen Smith’s daughter’s school – I might hang on to this to show my daughters when they’re older.

  17. Bron said

Disagree, she’s just another neo-con, along with the rest of them.

As I said to someone in an email:

Rice: When I look at people around the world who no longer live in tyranny, whether it’s in struggling places such as Afghanistan or Iraq, or in eastern Europe, where they finally are liberated from communism, it’s heartening to know that countries like Australia and the US have stood with people like that so that they no longer have to live in tyranny. Nobody should have to live in a dictatorship, nobody.

Yeah, all very nice, Condi, but how much has your country, the great ol’ US of A fucked up other countries right in the ass in the world, huh? And it could be argued that many in the good ol’ US of A are living in tyranny right now. Millions living below the poverty line, a village idiot as President, division between black and whites still very real, religious fanatics having the ear of the White House, gun-totin, trigger-happy idiots firing shots off at anyone and declaring it’s their constitutional right, lack of adequate health care, the death penalty….

Before the Taliban was thrown out of power in Afghanistan, it would not allow women to be taught how to read. It wouldn’t let women go to school. And the reason was very obvious. It kept them in their place. If you don’t know how to read, if you’re not educated, then you’re not going to aspire to very much. And you can be controlled and you can can’t challenge anything.

And guess what, Condi? Your “liberation” of Afghanistan has made the country worse, women are worse off in many ways. Not much as changed in the “before” and “after” of the supposed demise of the Taliban.

Her words are empty, hollow, full of shit.

Also, she’s been with the Bush Administration from day one. She rose to where she is now because of her political stance, not despite them. Otherwise she would have been turfed out long ago if she wasn’t such a neo-con.

As I said to someone in an email – cynical bitch!

  19. LuLi said

I’m a cynical bitch too, she played a key role in duping the American public into getting behind the war on Iraq. Not cool Condi!

  20. Bron said

Better to be a cynical bitch than a blind sheep who thinks Condi is not a neo-con. Just because she makes a little rah-rah speech.

  21. Bron said

And yeah, what LuLi said too. Condi wanted this war as much as Wolfowitz, Cheney, Bush, Bush Snr, Rove, and the rest of them.

  22. Wah said

    Prove it!

  23. Bron said

    Ten examples?

  24. Wah said

No – show me an article which showed Condi went beyond her job description as secretary of state to push for the war to satisfy her own neo con idealism.

  25. Bron said

    Later.

  26. Bron said

Or google it yourself, lazy cunt.

  27. clubwah said

    I think I’ve been pwned!

  28. Bron said

And how, as Surname would say.

  29. clubwah said

OK, because Bron is such a lazy bitch, I looked for evidence that Condi is a neo con and up to her hairy femmo arm pits in all the shit caused by the Bush Administration and I admit it was easier than finding a needle in Amy Winehouse’s arm.

So therefore I admit wholeheartedly that I was wrrrrrrrrrr … wrrrrrrrrr … wrrrrrrr … uhm not quite as informed as I could have been.

  30. Look on the bright side wah, that lying neo-con warmonger can play the piana real noice.
