Only 75,000? Nearly 40 years ago a black Jimi Hendrix performed to a crowd of 500,000 mainly white faces at Woodstock, but he never became President. In fact a year later he was dead. And Jimi was more entertaining than Barak.

My friend in Portland, OR, had this to say about going to see Obama:
i never got around to molesting obama [in response to my request to go and pinch his cute arse for me]. his rally drew
so many people, apparently people were waiting in line
for hours and the crowd went so far beyond the stage
that many of the folks who showed up never even got to
see him. crazy. considering how hot it was sunday,
i’m glad i didn’t go downtown for that!

Jimmy Hendrix played at a rock festival which went for days with loads of different acts. It’s hardly a revelation that a rock star can draw a crowd. That’s what they bloody do - black or white.
