People fall into crime, I can understand that. What I don’t understand are the people who hang off them, like 18-year old Millie Traynor whose 25-year-old boyfriend Samir Ograzden was shot dead by police during a gun fight in South Melbourne on Tuesday night in which an officer was shot in the leg.
I hope one day Traynor gets out of this scene and realises that the death of her “loving and caring” drug-pushing boyfriend has probably saved her life.
And while she is grieving for Ograzden, who despite his criminal past, would have had endearing qualities and deserves to be mourned, friends and family of the apprentice gangland moll should advise her, for her sake, to disappear and shut the fuck up.
As the wounded police officer still recovers in hospital Traynor has told The Age that she is upset that her boyfriend’s death is being as a political football to get police armed with semi-automatic handguns.
She may have a valid point there, but according to witnesses including a taxi driver and an Age reporter in the cab, it was Ograzden who fired the first shots.
Which is why she won’t get much sympathy by saying: ”My boyfriend was shot by the police, who are meant to be there to serve and protect.”
And that’s exactly what they did.

Fair enough, he dealt his drugs.
Speaking from pure experience, though i am not a drug user myself,
there are many lost little souls out there doing their dealing to earn themselves a living. When in the scene, you dont view it as wrong. Not every drug dealer is a scumbag either.
Fair enough, this might not be an honest career choice, but drug dealers dont force anybody to buy their drugs. The type of dealer he was, someone who just provides his service to those who request it.
There is no defence for Samir, he did wrong, any drug dealer does, but whether he shot the first round, or whether the police did, he is still dead and deserves to rest in peace.
For those of you who believe in god, let him sort him out.
For those of you who dont, just be thankful you dont have to deal with him if you think that bad of him.
Let Millie (hang in there babe), Samir’s friends, family and aquantainces grieve in peace and let him rest in peace.
RIP Samir - at least some of us see things clearly.

It’s hardly fair for all those people who have already judged Sam to say these things about him. You didn’t know him, and it’s just not fair.
I had only met Sam once before, and I in no way condone what he was doing with his life, but that’s just it, it was his life, as it is the same for all the other people out there who do stupid things with their lives. Everybody makes their own choices, if they don’t, they should.
When I met Sam, he made a huge impression on me. I saw straight through the wrong parts and looked to the person inside. There was no way it was possible for me to judge Sam by his way of life. You should never judge someone for what they do, because they are still people.
Sam was caring and was there for anyone who needed him. He made the wrong but in this day and age, everyone makes wrong choices.
He was kind, considerate and thoughtful, he was the nicest person I had ever met. And just because he was doing the things he was doesn’t mean he couldn’t have normal friendships and relationships!
There are people who care about him, and need to grieve without people saying all these bad things about Sam!!
Leave him alone, let him rest, and stop saying all this shit about him because he can’t defend himself now! There will always be someone there to defend him. As for me, I’ve got his back!

Samir Ograzden was the most loving, caring and sweetest boy i could have ever grown up with. He was alwaysa there for me and my family, and we were for him,. John Surname leave Samir alone!!!! You will never ever ever know him the way he truley was. His life was affected by the worst possible habit, he had no choice. You will never understand his position, or his frame of mind. His friends and family are very hurt by all the bullshit and lies that have been published. AND people like you john have no right to say what u say about Samir Ograzden…the most loving, caring and sweetest boy. As does Briita,I’ve got Samir back, and will defend his rights to be looked upon as the angel he was.

He was fun, loving ,well respected by all, caring, considerate to others he

Actually this is not a tribute thread to Samir. While I feel sorry that his short life ended like it it, I originally wrote this to hope his girlfriend sees that living around his lifestyle is not glamerous.
I didn’t expect so many people claiming to be his friends to comment on this post - what worried me is that many of you don’t seem to have got it in to you that Samir died shooting at young police officers - it doesn;t get any more serious than that.
By all means grieve for your friend, but for fuck’s learn from from what happened.

Fair enough, “people”, but you’re overlooking something: there was actually a lull from people saying “nasty things” about Samir, yet the tributes kept coming, kept flowing, and THAT is ridiculous.
Sure, grieve for him, but I personally don’t get why they should grieve for him on this particular blog, and on this post which, I may remind you, was never a tribute to Samir either, in the first place.
I can’t help but ask why don’t they create a Tribute to Samir Blog or something, if they miss him so much? That would certainly be far more respectful to his memory than in this thread.
