A story on the The Age web site about a potentially tragic house fire in Point Cook had me thinking either Victoria Police detectives are highly disciplined and never jump to conclusions, or they’re a bit slow to put two and two together.
Police are investigating two suspicious fires in Melbourne’s west overnight.
A married couple in their 30s and their two young children escaped a fire at a house in Point Cook which took hold about 11.30pm last night.
Detectives are investigating whether the blaze, which caused substantial damage to the Glastonbury Circuit property, is linked to a car fire at the same house the night before.
